Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15 1960) was an American actor. Since the late 80s, Angela Evelyn has worked on film and television. She's received many awards, including sixteen NAACP Image Awards. Bassett is born in New York New York. She was raised at Winston-Salem North Carolina. Her mother split with her father when she was around five. Bassett and her younger sister relocated to St. Petersburg Florida with their mother. Bassett was inspired to become an actress after she saw the stage play Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, starring James Earl Jones. Yale University New Haven Connecticut gave her a bachelor's degree (1980), in African American study, and an honorary doctorate (1983), from the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale In 1997, they tied the knot. Qualification: B.A. the Yale School of Drama awarded a Master of Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Basssett in 1980. The school she attended was the institutions that she attended: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for 7th graders, Azalea Middle School for 8th and 9th grades in addition to Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett, who plays Ramonda the female protagonist in the action adventure film I. Black Panther: Wakanda forever (2022).
